Josie Askin
Meet your coach
She/Her
Hi, I’m Josie Askin
Leadership coach, endurance athlete and date scone connoisseur
I’ve been there, where you are right now. I made myself promises, called myself names and trivialised self-care as an indulgence.
As an ultra-endurance athlete with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport or RED-S, I learned the hard way what happens when you don’t have balance.
I built on leadership principles by studying top performers in business and sport, becoming a coach after over 20 years as a performance and planning advisor in the business world.
My approach is different. It’s holistic, tailored, systematic, sustainable and it works.
Book yourself in for a free consultation and let’s talk about what I can do for you and your organisation.
It feels like no matter how much you do, there’s more to be done and not enough hours to do it in.
And burnout feels like it’s just around the corner.
Sustainable transformational change starts with our habits.
It’s what we do every day that creates our future.
Working with a coach can help you to optimise your everyday life so that you can get back to doing the things you love with more balance.
Book yourself in for a complimentary, confidential call with me and let’s get you the life you really want.
“…the things I’ve been taught are really helping and I feel like I’m getting my life back!”
“Josie helped me slow my brain down. She got me to write a MASSIVE to-do list, break it into manageable chunks, delegate, realise what was important to me and what wasn’t and help me act as though I’d known that all along. I felt like I’d be a better boss, a better wife and a better friend and all round a better human when I finally got things under control, but Josie helped me understand that I’d never have everything under control, and I could actually be that person anyway. It is, and will be something I need to consistently work at, but the things I’ve been taught are really helping and I feel like I’m getting my life back!”
– Laurie Miles, Business owner
Next week will be different
Do you make next week promises to yourself?
Next week I’ll speak up in meetings
Next week I’ll have that difficult conversation with my colleague
Next week I’ll focus on one task at a time until completion
Next week I’ll delegate tasks to my team without feeling guilty
Next week I’ll go to the gym at lunchtime.
Next week was going to be different but then life happened.
You’re not alone.
Getting to the top requires a step-by-step plan with a strategy for action.
Staying on top requires consistency and balance. I’m here to help you get ahead and stay there – sustainably.
You are not lazy, you are overwhelmed
Driven, ambitious, high-performing leaders all struggle with balance.
When it all starts to fall over you tell yourself that you have no willpower or you’re lazy.
The more you try to do the more strung out you feel.
Sound familiar?
Having a coach means that you are taking the steps to invest in and protect your biggest asset.
Yourself.
The high-performance athletes of the world ALL work with professional coaches.
Why should you be any different?
